The Seattle CascadiaNow! Group had a lovely ensemble in the Fremont Solstice Parade and Fremont Fair, with several dozen Seagulls, SeaTurtles, an underwater water army of fishes, a native whale, and a giant Sasquatch.

Alexander Baretich who is one of the founding members of this cooperative also the designed the Cascadian flag in 1995. How beautiful would it be for Cascadian Doug Flags to be made in region, upholding to all the principles and ideals of Cascadia, using locally sourced materials and a bioregional footprint?

Climate Action Festival | Earth Day at Seattle Central Community College
On April 22nd, 2015 CascadiaNow! joined over 20 other organizations dedicated to sustainability at Seattle Central Community College (SCCC) in celebration of Earth Day. The inaugural Climate Action Festival featured speeches from Earth Day founder Denis Hayes, Duwamish Tribe Leader Cecile Hansen, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray, K.C. Golden of Climate Solutions and many more.
