2018 Cascadia Pride Month – Cascadians from around the region celebrated an amazing 2018 Cascadia Pride Month, with parades, events and displays of solidarity. Cascadia Underground with organizers from Seattle CascadiaNow! joined the 44th Seattle Pride Parade and the tens of thousands of viewers with the Undergrounds first ever printing of Cascadia Trans Pride Flags, while dozens of businesses and organizations participated by flying their Cascadia rainbow and pride flags.
This years theme was “Pride Beyond Borders” and we were taken by the multitude of flags in so many colors as Cascadians of every persuasion came together to show their pride in their communities and represent themselves.
Two CascadiaNow projects also had amazing celebrations for 2018 Cascadia Pride, including Queer Pride on Whidbey (QPoW) and Ellensburg Pride. If you support their amazing work you can donate to QPOW here, and Ellensburg Pride here.

About the Pride of Ellensburg
Pride of Ellensburg inspires and celebrates love, equality and diversity through local events, outreach, and fostering opportunity within the larger Ellensburg community and the larger LGBTQ community reaching into the Upper Kittitas county. Through education and outreach programs, we envision our reach supporting other communities in Central Washington, which historically has been an under-served and unsafe area for the LGBTQ community.

Queer Pride on Whidbey is dedicated to bringing awareness, enrichment, and celebration of the LGBTQ+ community to Whidbey Island. Every summer, community members and guests come together to participate in the annual parade, which is enhanced by additional educational and social events.
