The Jefferson County Energy Lunch meets Third Thursdays from noon to 2 pm at the Port Townsend Yacht Club at 2503 Washington Street in the Boat Haven on the Port Townsend waterfront. The presentations are from 12:30 – 1:30, with time before and after for informal discussions. The Energy Lunch is free and open to the public; bring your brown bag lunch. 3rd Thursday of every month, 7pm—8 pm. Come at 6:30 to mix and have snacks with friends. The Beyond Coal and Oil Taskforce group works to support initiatives to prevent coal and oil based energy and exports throughout the Pacific Northwest. All welcome For more information: click here.

350 Everett is a chapter of the national 350.org. We are working on climate change issues – and many related issues – at the local level. The whole group meets once a month on the fourth Monday. Individual work groups meet throughout the month.

The Local 20/20 Energy Action Group (EAG) brings together people interested in energy issues monthly for discussions, presentations and occasional action projects. The EAG supports the Climate Action Plan of the City of Port Townsend/Jefferson County, and the imperative that climate change is impacted by human greenhouse gas emissions.
