First ever Innovative Cascadia Poetry MOOC (a free six week course) in partnership with Seattle Poetry Lab (SPLAB) and Cascadia Community college starts January 25th! a free, six week online course through the CANVAS Network on innovative poetry from the Cascadia bioregion.

It’s free, so register now!: https://www.canvas.net/browse/cascadiacc/courses/innovative-cascadia-poetry.

Details:
It’s six weeks long, and starts on January 25th and is being hosted by English Professor Jared Leising. If you’re new to online learning, not to worry, there are some helpful ways to learn how to navigate Canvas and get up to speed quickly once you’re registered. While they are looking for full and consistent participation in the course, they also understand if you are just curious and want to engage briefly or occasionally, and welcome that, too.

In the end, they hope the course to be a conversation, through which they hope to build community and welcome feedback that can help enhance and expand it prior to the 2016 Cascadia Poetry Festival(November 3-6) when they’ll be offering the course again during fall quarter of next year.

So, please consider joining us, and registering for the course, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact the course coordinator Jared Leising at jleising@gmail.com.
