The idea of global climate change has caused impassioned reactions from both the right and left side of the political spectrum. Unlike the heated talk in the political sphere, the scientific community has been gathering observational data and fitting this data into increasingly sophisticated modeling programs to extrapolate from current to future trends. This talk will explore the science that underlies the concerns of climate scientists around the world, and will show how the existing data support an urgency in addressing the drivers of climate change.

There will be a Q&A session following the talk.

Presenter: Professor Thomas Bitterwolf
