Indigenous Resistance to Tankers & Pipelines: Kinder Morgan’s pipeline has been approved by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and BC Premier Christy Clark, so it’s time to give up, right? Wrong. Enbridge’s Northern Gateway pipeline was also granted its government permits — but First Nations lawsuits eventually killed the project. Indigenous resistance can stop pipelines. It’s one of the best ways to prevent climate chaos.
