21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living holds a Green Building Tour the first and third Saturday of each month at 11 am. Get a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the tools and technologies 21 Acres’ LEED Platinum-certified building is employing to maximize efficient use of resources. Make the connections between clean energy, water and food and how they impact our environment, health, and economy. You will also walk away with suggestions for simple, yet significant, changes you can make to your home or business to reduce your impact.
No reservation is necessary for the Green Building Tour; please check-in at the lobby upstairs when you arrive. The tour is free, takes place indoors, and takes approximately one hour. All ages are welcome.
