Seattle biologist George Divoky, founder of Friends of Cooper Island, has documented the negative impacts of Arctic climate change on the seabirds and polar bears of Alaska’s remote Cooper Island. He’ll share discoveries about the quickening pace of change in the region and what these observations portend for the Arctic as it continues to warm.
