Successful infographics tell a story in a visually compelling way, using art and science to connect data and ideas and communicate challenging concepts. Marilyn Ostergren will talk about her work at the University of Washington, where she develops infographics to communicate about topics such as energy use, building design, transportation options and greenhouse gas reduction, and why and how good infographics can help raise awareness of personal impacts contributing to our climate change crisis.
