The 2017 NW Climate Conference will begin on October 9th with a Town Hall that is open to the public. Registration for the Conference itself has now closed.
The Conference in the region’s premier opportunity for cross-sector knowledge exchange around climate impacts and adaptation strategies. The public is welcome to join the regional experts and conference attendees for an evening reception and lively panel discussion. The panelists from the private sector, government, academic & non-profit organizations will share their perspectives on confronting the climate challenge. Join to discuss:
– What needs to be done to address climate change?
– How can we better prepare for the impacts that are coming our way?
– How can we achieve our goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions?
– What steps are being taken locally, nationally & internationally to boost our climate preparedness?
There will be opportunity for discussion & audience participation. Reception with panel to follow in the Tacoma Convention Center.
