In recent weeks the threat that oil trains can pose to communities and the environment along the rail lines has been seen. Perhaps nowhere in Washington is the threat of a massive catastrophe greater than when oil trains run directly beneath Safeco field packed with fans. Burlington Northern Railroad has been documented doing exactly that.
Join groups to highlight this risk with banners and displays as we talk to fans heading into the home game on July 3rd. We will meet at 11:00 and be deployed by 11:30 so we can talk with fans coming in for the game that starts at 1:10. Details for this action – including where to gather and what to bring – will be sent out to those who have RSVPed.
