“Special guest Mayor Ed Murray will join us for March’s Civic Cocktail to discuss his priorities for Seattle in 2015 with host Joni Balter. A panel of experts will talk about Gov. Jay Inslee’s proposed energy-related taxes and environmental policy initiatives in light of climate change. Yoram Bauman, The World’s Only Stand-up Economist; Rod Brown, Co-Chair of the governor’s Carbon Emissions Reduction Task Force and Cascadia Law Group partner and The Nature Conservancy’s Mike Stevens will give insight into the governor’s proposed green initiatives and what they mean for tax payers and the community.
