Steven Gardiner, “The Ethics of Geoengineering” Steve Gardiner is Professor of Philosophy and Ben Rabinowitz Endowed Professor of Human Dimensions of the Environment at the UW. He has written extensively on ethics and climate, including the acclaimed A Perfect Moral Storm: the Ethical Tragedy of Climate Change. 

The Climate Action Team of University Unitarian Church is presenting a series of distinguished lecturers talking about how climate change will affect us locally, globally, and spiritually.  On the first Tuesday of every month from October, 2015, through April, 2016, we will have the opportunity to hear an expert discussing a different aspect of climate change in our present and our future.  The lectures will be held in Nathan Johnson Social Hall at University Unitarian Church. Doors open at 6:45 P.M.; lectures begin promptly at 7:00 P.M. All interested people are welcome to join us for any or all of this extraordinary series
