#DeFundDAPL organizers and 350 Seattle teamed up to write a DeFund Keystone XL Pipeline Resolution. The resolution will be introduced for a vote by Council member Sawant on Monday.

The resolution follows Seattle’s historic divestment from Wells Fargo, and makes it clear that any bank that provides loans to KXL will not be considered for banking contracts with the City of Seattle.
Passing this resolution will inspire similar moves by cities across the country, and open a critical front of the fight.
