CascadiaNow! had an awesome first meeting with a great group of folks helping us develop a Seattle outreach committee, and dedicated tabling volunteers. We went over all the awesome stuff we have at a table, as well as an introduction to Cascadia, CascadiaNow and bioregionalism.
We also had fun roleplaying common questions like “What is Cascadia and where does the idea come from? What is CascadiaNow? What do you do? What services do you provide? What is the doug flag? Who designed the map?”.
Excitingly, the group seemed very interested in helping get Seattle CascadiaNow events off the ground. They have planned our first Seattle CascadiaNow outreach meeting to happen Sunday November 15th, location TBA.
