Over the next year, InvestigateWest will produce in-depth investigative and explanatory reporting covering a range of issues related to the energy and environmental future of the Cascadia Bioregion, including Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. Effectively decarbonizing our region—working to keep greenhouse gasses out of the atmosphere—will only happen if slashing emissions benefits all communities and shares costs and benefits equitably.
As they prepare to launch their Getting to Zero: Decarbonizing Cascadia series this winter with production partners like South Seattle Emerald, we’re holding community listening sessions in order to inform our reporting and help us learn from the individuals most impacted by changes in climate, energy policy and a range of other related issues. We want to hear from people who are most impacted as well as people who are working to make change. And we’d love to hear from you!
