About Alex Brennan
Alex Brennan is the Executive Director of Futurewise, Washington’s leading advocate for smart land use policy. Alex comes to Futurewise after eight years at Capitol Hill Housing, where he served as Senior Planner and then as Executive Director of the Capitol Hill EcoDistrict, a neighborhood community development and environmental sustainability initiative based at Capitol Hill
Housing.
Prior to his time at Capitol Hill Housing, Alex worked in the Bay Area as a researcher and planning economics consultant. He holds a master’s degree in City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. Alex was born and raised in Seattle.
