The evening will include a presentation by Michael Foster, one of the #Shutitdown Valve Turners, multimedia presentations from The Road to Athabasca – a bicycle pilgrimage and storytelling project along the Trans Mountain oil pipeline, a panel on Lessons from Standing Rock, led by Gary Piazzon, and a session on oil spill impacts led by Dave Anderson, and interactive participation and brainstorming on how the Salish Sea can be powerful allies to the indigenous led resistance of the Trans Mountain oil pipeline expansion project.. Music by Erika Lundahl and Phillip Renker Jones.
