CascadiaNow! Ensemble in Seattle Solstice Parade

The Seattle CascadiaNow! Group had a lovely ensemble in the Fremont Solstice Parade and Fremont Fair, with several dozen Seagulls, SeaTurtles, an underwater water army of fishes, a native whale, and a giant Sasquatch. They melded into a larger ensemble of ensembles, coordinated by Carl Smool, fitting in as a parade of life behind a theatre of bobbing corporate heads, A ShellNo oil rig and kayaktavists, a 40 foot wide black American flag by artist Buster Simpson. The parade ended with a giant celebration and Honk Fest at Gasworks Park on Lake Union in Seattle.
