The Regional Cascadia Poetry Slam brings together teams from all over the Northwest to compete in a two-day tournament the region’s finest performance poetry. This year, participating slams are partnering with the Cascadia Poetry Festival to bring you an amazing night of poetry.
The Cascadia Poetry Slam is a tournament showcasing top performance poets from cities throughout the Northwest. Teams from Seattle, Olympia, Vancouver, and more, including team members of Rain City Slam, will compete to gain admission to the National Poetry Slam in Chicago, IL this summer.
Eight teams, very odd audiences, and West African fine Cuisine at Ben Moore’s Restaurant in Olympia, WA. Modest cash prizes and gimmicky knick knacks for winners. Two prelims and final stage with live music. Free lodging is available for out-of-towners. Come and #makeitrain in our humble Metropolis in the Rainforest.
